Grab & go garlands are our budget-friendly option that allows you to still get Carried Away without breaking the bank. They are fully constructed by us then picked up and hung by you. Hanging materials and easy to follow instructions are included.
-
The size of your grab & go garland will determine the size of the vehicle needed. If you booked a 4ft garland you can get by in any size car or sedan. Anything larger, you will need an SUV with all the seats down. The more room the better. The garlands are flexible and can be manipulated to squeeze in, but it’s better to come with an empty vehicle.

We will return to pick up all rentals, but We do not return to breakdown your balloons unless there were prior arrangements made. There is an additional strike fee for us to remove or pop and dispose of the balloons. In this case, you wiill have the option to keep, pop or recycle your balloons. Recycling often means gifting balloons to underprivileged families or donating them to an agency (like a hospital or convalescent home.)

What term should we use when referring to your balloons?
We tend to use the term balloon "clusters" to refer to our organic creations of balloons to form a “garland”. A “ft” of balloons is not a linear foot, it is a cluster of balloons ranging from a foot, to 2ft in actual size. Sizing is our specialty in knowing how many clusters will be needed to achieve a desired look. A custom piece we call a "balloon install."
“Organic” means a variety of sizes of balloons to create an organic look vs a structured look with all the same sizes.
When we hear the phrase "balloon arch" we think of something that starts at the ground and ends at the ground in the shape of an arch large enough for a person to stand under.
Anything with structure or sizing is referred to as a “classic” style. This style is common for arches in different pattern, like the classic spiral arch.
If I am hiring Carried Away Balloon Creations to install a balloon garland, what preferences do you have for installing?
Since balloon garlands are filled with air, we need to tie the balloons onto something. Where to tie off is our main concern when installing. Our preferred tie offs would be any frame work, gate posts, columns, arbors, lattices, stair railing, curtain rods, or windows. Please keep in mind that backdrops and framework are a great alternative that will resolve any issues of a preferred tie off without damage to your home, paint, or walls. Please make us aware if we need to bring a ladder for an install.
How do I start planning the design for my custom install?
A great place to start for your custom installation is with photos of the install site and any inspiration photos if available. From install site photos, we can determine where install would be best, gauge sizing or even send similar install photos that we've previously done. We have worked with a variety of clients who offer creative freedom with an “I trust you" and let us make the executive decisions for the details within the realm of a budget and also some who know exactly what they want. We can appreciate them all! And love them equally.
Is there such thing as MATTE Balloons?
Balloons will naturally oxidize in sun light (which means they will have a velvetty sheen/ aka MATTE look to them. However, they all start out the same, and colors will vary during this process. There is a way to prevent oxidization with balloon shine and make a shiny look. This look is circumstantial and used sparingly. If your event permits the use of balloon shine, we will ask for your preferred look.
How long will my balloons last?
Since we use high quality, air filled balloons, they will last much longer than you might think. Inside and out of direct sunlight, they can last 2+ months!! Outside, environmental factors play a huge role in how long they will last, sunlight, temperature, balloon colors, wind and rain are all factors we have no control over. Sometimes balloons will pop, deflate, or even melt- We just have to go with the flow and be prepared. With our expertise and experience, we have techniques that will help keep your balloons looking great, regardless of the circumstances!
